8 coworking spaces — small scene, growing fast
Split’s coworking scene is compact compared to Lisbon or Barcelona, but it has doubled in size since Croatia launched the Digital Nomad Visa in 2021. There are around eight full spaces plus several cafe-hybrid options. Day passes run EUR 15-22, monthly hot desks EUR 120-200. Most sit inside or just outside Grad (Old Town), in Manuš or Varoš — walking distance to the Riva and ferry terminal.
Fiber is the norm inside coworking spaces, with 200-500 Mbps symmetric. If you take daily video calls or move big files, this is where Split works.

How to choose
For community and events: Saltwater Nomads builds its brand around the nomad community — retreat weekends, boat days, and regular meetups. Amosfera is the quieter alternative with weekly coffee mornings.
For budget: The Works at EUR 120/month is the best-value full coworking in Split. Fine infrastructure, just less polished than WIP or Saltwater.
For speed and calls: WIP Split with 500 Mbps symmetric fiber is the pick if you run live video all day. Saltwater is close behind.
For location: Smart Space near the ferry terminal is perfect if you plan weekend island trips to Hvar or Brač — roll straight from desk to ferry.
Free and cheap alternatives
A handful of Split cafes tolerate all-day laptop sessions outside summer peak:
- D16 Coffee (Grad) — specialty coffee, strong WiFi, power outlets
- Tinel Specialty Coffee (Grad) — calm stone interior, good for focus
- Miss Nina (Dominisova) — small room, quiet before 11:00
See the cafes guide for full WiFi notes. Budget EUR 5-8 per session and order a drink every two hours to stay welcome. In July and August, lean on coworking — cafes fill with tourists by late morning.
